Daily Mile update - Autumn 1
The Key Stage Two Daily Mile is going extremely well. The children are full of energy and enthusiasm.
Some of our wonderful Year Six children are wearing a high-vis jacket and leading a 'super speed' group who are able to complete the Daily mile in less than 10 minutes. Alternatively, they spread out to give praise, support and encouragement to other pupils along the way. Well done Year Six!
Some pupils have been running in their spare time, including participating in Park Runs on a Saturday - Keep it up! You may have noticed your fitness improving whilst you enjoy your other sports and hobbies too.
Many children who I speak to every day during the Daily Mile enjoy telling me that they have improved their time or have managed to complete more laps in the ten minute time limit. I have been so impressed by the dedication and commitment to improve shown by all of our children.
You are showing our school values every day during the daily mile. Well done.
Let's keep it up, even when the weather gets colder!
